How to Register

Registration for the MATHCOUNTS program begins in September of each year.

> Click here for the online registration

The School Handbook also contains a registration form.

Team registration is $80. Each individual student registraiton is $20. There are reduced rates for schools entitled to receive Title I funds.

The deadline to register is early December, but the sooner you register the sooner you will receive your competition material. The first mailing of school competition kits takes place in October. Additional mailings will take place on a rolling basis through early January.

Once processed, confirmation of your registration will be available through the registration area on the National MATHCOUNTS Web site.

Win a trip to Orlando

This year, a MATHCOUNTS Club coach and four students will have a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to watch the 2009 Raytheon MATHCOUNTS National Competition at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida!

It's easy to enter for your chance to win! When you register for the Competition Program or sign up for the FREE Club Program and request your FREE Club in a Box kit from MATHCOUNTS, you will have already attained Bronze Level status. Move through Silver Level and up to the Gold Level and your team will be eligible for a Silver Level prize drawing, as well as the Gold Level Grand Prize drawing for the trip and a chance to win a $500 gift card!

Chapter Competitions

Your Chapter Coordinator will be notified of your registration and will inform you of the date and location of your local competition. You can also check our Competition Schedule for your Chapter’s Competition date.

State Competition

If your team or individual student qualifies for the State Competition, you will receive an email directing you to a registration form for the State Meet along with information about that event.
