2009 Math League news

MATHCOUNTS alumni win 2009 State Math League
Martin Camacho, last year's first place MATHCOUNTS winner, was the top student in this year's Math League's tournament. Minna Chen, member of the 2005 State MATHCOUNTS team, was second. The two top all-around students (entire season) were Rohit Agrawal, who took 5th place in the 2007 MATHCOUNTS State Meet, and Gaurav Singh, who took first that same year.
Varsity Scholars
The four top scorers in the 2007 MATHCOUNTS State Competition were among those Minnesota students receiving Excellence in Science and Math Education Varsity Scholar Awards: Maggie Flint, Field Middle School, Minneapolis; Denise Chen, Wayzata East Middle School, Plymouth; Chris Mueller, Eden Prairie Central Middle School; and Andrew Ford, St. Louis Park Junior High.
